Join us for the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) public consultation meetings for the proposed Offshore Venus Field Development (Offshore PEL56/Block 2913B) by TotalEnergies EP Namibia B.V. and its Joint Venture Partners (QatarEnergy International E&P LLC, Impact Oil & Gas, Namcor). 

Following the conclusion of the Scoping Phase, which included public consultations, the Environmental Assessment Practitioner – SLR Environmental Consulting (Namibia) - has now assessed the potential environmental and social impacts of the proposed project and will conduct a second round of public engagements, coordinated by Urban Dynamics Africa. 

This is your opportunity to learn about the potential project, the findings of the ESIA, ask questions, and share your feedback - Your voice matters! The ESIA Report* will be available for public review and comment from 3 November to 3 December 2025.
